What is an E-Book?
A. An E-Book is an electronic book like E-Mail is electronic mail. It exists purely as a computer file. It only exists on paper after it is printed. The computer needs either a "Browser" with a "PDF" Plug-In or the Adobe® "Reader to view or print the E-Book.
Q. Would I be permitted to have the E-Book printed ?
A. Yes
Q.Why not print the darn thing on paper?
A.You can if you want to. But if you ever watched Star-Trek you would notice that they do not use paper. It was done away with during the 21th century.
PDF?
Q. HTML is a little hard to read. Will your "E-Book" be hard to read?
A.Absolutely not! The "PDF" (Portable Document Format) allows the E-Book to be viewed and printed in the exact font and format as the author intended. Download and read the free fragment BEFORE purchasing E-book to assure your satisfaction and computer compatibility.
Q. Whenever I try to download, Netscape automatically launches the "PDF" plug-in. I can read the E-Book just fine but when I look for it later, IT'S GONE!?
A.To prevent the automatic launch of the Reader or Plug-In. Hold the "Shift" key down while clicking on the "PDF" file. Then use the"Save-to-Disk option. Or just click your "Other" mouse button on the "PDF" file and "Save-Link-As".
Q. I downloaded recall.pdf into my "PDF" Reader at work and the text was fuzzy?
A.In the Readers File menu choose > Preferences > General > and DESELECT Smooth Text and Monochrome Images option and click ok. |
