Action for the Ecology of Culture Action for the Ecology of Culture is a 1art.com and ArtPapa.com campaign for the revival of the forgotten knowledge and skills, for bringing back the preeminence of craftsmanship unduly neglected in the art of painting, thereby attracting the public's attention to the current imbalance in our cultural life. That's why, with all our sense of humor, let's look at political correctness a little more seriously than usually. Is political correctness always good? Is it the result of the pink glasses that were forced on us and we now feel it dangerous to take them off? The Action for the Ecology of Culture gives you an opportunity to discuss the future of our children, maybe not too loudly, to avoid retaliation. In a whisper: It is not a secret that most art colleges are subject to the dominance of some "contemporary art" that does not require taking any traditional disciplines by the deceived students. The professor's personal view on art education is the law for the unfortunate student who is deprived of the right of choice. Wouldn't you agree that this reminds of the stone age and does not have anything to do with democracy so much shouted about by the avant-gardists. Does it look as if we decided to ban avant-gardism? On the contrary! Dear opponents, the fact that you contribute to the global destruction and decay of culture does not devalue you as members of society. Conversely, it turns you into active participants of the spiritual process. "Unity in struggle." as one of the great said. Thus, avant-gardists, abstractionists, and other -ists, are invited to participate on the same conditions and with the same rights as the supporters. Action for the Ecology must be fair and diverse. The only conditions for all future authors are intelligence and a sense of humor that leaves no place for rudeness. It's for our children to see who will last till the 22nd century. |

I can remember my self from the age of two, and when I was three, I was the terror of my mother's make-up kit, as I loved to draw murals on the wallpaper with her lipstick. All through my childhood I continued drawing, (more...) |
